The actual pages
Five templates with room to make them yours
Each preview below is a render of the finished PDF page. The design uses white space, dark text, thin lines, and restrained color so it remains clear while using little ink.

Daily Reflection
A calm daily page for one sentence, a morning check-in, what mattered, and an evening reflection.

Gratitude Log
Three specific starting points that make room for gratitude without demanding a positive mood.

Mood Tracker
A simple way to name a feeling, mark its intensity, and notice what happened around it.

Weekly Check-In
Four gentle questions about what stayed, took energy, offered support, and can wait.

Kids Journal Page
A child-readable page with choices to write, draw, make a list, switch ideas, or stop.
Two files, the same five pages
The layouts are adjusted for each paper proportion instead of stretching one file. Both PDFs contain Daily Reflection, Gratitude Log, Mood Tracker, Weekly Check-In, and Kids Journal Page in that order.

Choose a printable for your time, energy, and writing intent
Start with the page that matches today, not the page you think a journal should contain. Time tells you how much structure is useful; energy tells you whether short marks or full sentences feel possible; writing intent tells you what you want to notice. You can change pages tomorrow without breaking a routine.
For a few quiet minutes
Choose Daily Reflection when you want one sentence about the day, or Gratitude Log when one person, moment, or ordinary detail is already in mind. Both work even when you leave most space blank.
For low writing energy
Mood Tracker allows circles, a number, and a few words before any longer reflection. The Kids Journal Page also makes room for a sketch or list, which can suit writers of any age who do not want a paragraph.
For a wider view
Use Weekly Check-In when your intent is to notice what stayed, what took energy, and what can wait. It asks for perspective, so it is usually more useful at the end of a week than during a hurried morning.
A ten-minute printable routine
- Minutes 0–1: choose one page and put the others aside.
- Minutes 1–3: read the labels, then circle or underline the easiest starting point.
- Minutes 3–9: write, list, or draw without trying to fill every box.
- Minute 10: add one last detail, or stop with the page exactly as it is.
Ten minutes is a container, not a target. A complete session can be shorter, and an unfinished box is not unfinished thinking.
At home, at school, or in a library
At home, leave one page with a pen where it is easy to reach. In a classroom or library, offer two template choices and explain that writers may use words, lists, or drawings. A teacher or librarian can demonstrate with a neutral example instead of asking anyone to disclose a personal experience.
Young writers should choose whether to share what they wrote. They may cover a page, keep it with a trusted adult, take it home, or recycle it. Paper can still be seen, copied, or misplaced, so do not promise absolute privacy. Never require a writer to read private content aloud to prove that they participated.
Print and use the pages simply
Choose the file that matches your paper
Use US Letter in the United States and Canada, or A4 in most other places. The prompts and page order are identical.
Print at actual size
Select “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog. If your printer clips an edge, choose “Fit to printable area” instead.
Print one page or the whole pack
The PDF does not require all five pages at once. Choose a page range when you only want a particular template.
Use the page without completing every field
A section may stay blank. You can write a few words, draw, change the prompt, or stop whenever the structure is not useful.
These pages support personal reflection; they are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for professional care.
Paper size and license questions
Should I download the A4 or US Letter PDF?
Choose the size printed on your usual paper package. US Letter measures 8.5 × 11 inches. A4 measures 210 × 297 millimeters. If you are unsure, your printer settings usually show the current paper size.
Can I print these pages for students?
Yes. Teachers, counselors, and homeschoolers may print copies for students they directly teach or support in a non-commercial classroom or educational setting. The permission does not authorize professional mental-health treatment or make the templates clinical tools.
Can I share the PDF with someone else?
Please send them the InkPrompts Printables page or the Gumroad product link so they can get their own copy. Do not re-upload, publicly distribute, or include the files in another download.
Can I edit or sell the templates?
You may write on printed copies for the permitted uses. You may not resell the files, include them in a paid product, or modify and redistribute or sell the altered templates.
